Introducing Our New Tag Line: "The Fun Begins Where the Pavement Ends!"

At Desert Wranglers Jeep Club, we believe in the spirit of adventure and camaraderie that off-roading brings. After much thought and feedback from our amazing community, we decided it was time to update our tag line to better reflect the essence of who we are and what we do.

Previously, our tag line was "The Club that Won't Wreck Your Jeep." While it was catchy, it didn't sit well with some folks, including members from other Jeep clubs. We realized that no club intentionally aims to wreck Jeeps, and we wanted something more inclusive and positive.

Turning to our members

To come up with a new tag line, we turned to the best source of inspiration: our members. We made it a contest, inviting everyone to submit their ideas. The response was incredible, with over 50 creative submissions!

During our June 2024 General Meeting, members in attendance cast their votes by ballot, narrowing down the top 5 submissions. The finalists were:

1. The fun begins where the pavement ends

2. For those who want to take the road less traveled

3. Where The Adventure Starts but Never Ends

4. Welcome to the School of Dirt: Lessons Learned, Trails Earned

5. Welcome to the School of Dirt: Lessons Learned, Badges Earned

And the winning tag line is: "The fun begins where the pavement ends!"

This perfectly captures the thrill and excitement we experience every time we hit the trails. It's not just about driving; it's about the journey, the challenges, and the unforgettable memories we make along the way.

We're thrilled to announce that the author of this fantastic tag line is none other than our very own Vice President, Jackie Smiley. Jackie's creativity and passion for off-roading truly shine through in this new tag line, and we couldn't be more proud to adopt it as our club's new mantra.

Desert Wranglers Jeep Club is more than just an off-road group; we are a family-oriented community dedicated to promoting safe and responsible off-roading. Our mission is to provide education and training for all skill levels, from beginners to highly experienced drivers, ensuring everyone has the knowledge and skills needed to enjoy the trails safely.

We place a strong emphasis on being mindful of the environment, practicing sustainable and respectful off-roading. Our club is committed to preserving the natural beauty of the trails we ride on, ensuring they can be enjoyed for generations to come.

Camaraderie is at the heart of everything we do. Whether it's through our educational series, guest speakers, or our fun and adventurous trail rides, we strive to build a supportive and welcoming community. Our members are always ready to lend a helping hand, share their knowledge, and make every outing an enjoyable experience.
