Detailed Trail Description: Mormon Wells Road is an easy dirt road located in the Desert National Wildlife Refuge (DNWR). This trail is typically run from the DNWR visitor center to the Desert Pass Campground a camping area that offers a bathroom and fire pit. At that point the trail is taken back to the DNWR visitor center. The trail can also be continued all the way to US-93. The trail offers beautiful differing views as well as a portion where you are driving through a canyon. Due to the higher elevation this is also a fun easy trail in the wintertime when there is snow on the ground. There are no difficult obstacles on this trail, and this is a great beginner trail that any stock 4wd vehicle can handle.

Please note these trails are subject to change and this was written\updated the last time the trail was run. Just a small amount of rain can significantly change a trail and make it more difficult and potentially even impassable. Many trails are not frequently maintained.
